Fame Stinks is devoted to all aspects of celebrity and pop culture fragrances — news, history, marketing, sales, advertising, and much more.
In addition to actors and musicians, I also consider authors, athletes, and television personalities to be celebrities. Scents named after television shows, movies, books and plays are also included. I do not include designers or animated characters among these — there are just too many in both of those categories.
Included are celebrities that develop their own scents as well as famous faces hired as spokesmodels for fragrances. Often this line is intentionally blurry.
Anything scent-oriented is fair game: perfume, cologne, aftershave, scented candles, deodorant, body spray, air freshener, diffusers, etc.
If you have news about a new celebrity fragrance or you unearth some forgotten fragrance from days gone by I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
